Looking for a more toned and tighter look?
Coolsculpting can help with those stubborn fat areas: love handles and under the chin. Coolsculpting is a noninvasive, nonsurgical procedure used to treat problem area by freezing fat cells below the skin. Cryoliposis, another name for the freezing of cells, causes the fat cells to shrink to the point of killing them! Over time your body will shed the fat cells. Each procedure should effectively eliminate 20% of the fat in the treated areas.
What areas of the body can Coolsculpting treat?
The most popular areas are abs, love handles and under the chin, but Coolsculpting is also approved for inner and outer thighs, back, bra fat, “banana roll”, upper arms, above the knee and more!
Is there any downtime?
Since fat cells freeze at a much higher temperature than normal skin, there is little if any downtime! Most patients return to their normal daily activities immediately following the procedure.
How long is the procedure?
Every patient is different and you’ll need to consult your provider, but most patients should expect a 35-45 minute procedure. Many patients like to bring their phone to check emails, laptop or iPad to occupy their time.
When can I expect to see results?
Typical results occur after 2-3 months but some patients have noticed results in as soon as 4 weeks. We recommend maintaining a healthy lifestyle and exercise to maximize these results. Many patients return for 2-3 treatments to achieve the best look possible.
Can I stop working out and eating healthy?
For maximum results, we recommend maintaining a healthy lifestyle of exercise and diet. Coolsculpting should only be used in cases of problem areas and shouldn’t take the place of either diet or exercise.
What can I expect at a normal Coolsculpting procedure?
A gel is applied to the treatment area before treatment. Your provider will use a hand piece to precisely target the area of treatment. The hand piece uses suction to pull the skin to the hand piece for maximum results. You’ll feel pressure and intense cold causing minor tingling in the treatment area. The procedure typically lasts 35-45 minutes.
