I just interrupted my visit with my visiting family, drove three hours from where we were staying to CSC Derm for a post Mohs skin cancer appt I've had scheduled for months. Upon my arrival they said "It looks like the appt was cancelled." When I asked Why, I was told "I guess you had a balance due." REALLY??? So they just cancelled the appointment and never told me?????? Last year, I had my bills on auto pay with their office, and once the amount was paid in full, they continued to withdraw from my bank account every two weeks for months. I had to completely change my account with my bank to get it to stop! Unfortunately, I cannot continue with this practice. AWFUL!!! AWFUL!!! AWFUL!!! management system. Dr. Peterlin, if you ever join another practice, please let me know!!!

Thorough skin check.

I spent about 10 minutes with an assistant and then waited over 30 minutes to actually see the nurse …. For about five minutes. I have heard from other patients that wait times are long here.

I came to Dr. Bognet for my yearly skin check. It was my first time seeing her, and I found her to be very thorough. I will definitely come back to her next year.

Dr. Rachel Bognet has tested and treated several skin spots that concerned me. Some required Mohs procedures, which she performed effectively and painlessly. Other spots turned out to be precancerous, so she took appropriate measures to address those. Dr. Bognet is always professional yet very friendly. She is informative, answering all questions without hesitation. I could not ask for a better dermatologist.

Red spots appeared on my arms and legs about 20 years ago. I went to a dermatologist immediately. It did not completely solve the problem. I thought it was scarred tissue that I would just have to live with. But it wasn't just scarred tissue that I was concerned about. It was also a matter of the skin always looking dry, cracking, flaking and worse. Years later I went to another dermatologist that told me to take a supplement which did absolutely nothing. Then, about two months ago I went to see Dr. Rachel Bognet of CSC Dermatology. Not only did she identify a cancer issue on my neck, but she treated the spots on my arms and legs, prescribed a medication to use for a period of time followed by a post medication treatment. When it was time for my follow examination with Dr, Bognet, the condition of my arms and legs had vastly improved. Dr. Bognet advised that the remaining not-quite-normal areas on my arms and legs would disappear with a little more time. The initial condition of my arms and legs was bad enough that I would wear long sleeve shits and long pants so not to upset others. She eliminated the cancer, and she eliminated the marks on skin of my arms and legs. Dr. Bognet is my hero for life. Thank you Dr. Bognet!!!! I have utilized both the Downers Grove facility and the Hinsdale facility.

I have been coming to this practice for over 20 years. I still drive an hour to CSC for care despite having moved out of the area many years ago. I’ve tried other practices closer to my home but they just can’t compare to the care I’ve received at CSC. They’ve helped me control my adult acne, caught several cancerous spots and I find they are experts at Botox treatments. They are a caring, kind practice that is progressive and keeps up on the latest treatments. Highly recommend this entire practice.

Extremely Disappointed with the Experience I waited 1 hour and 10 minutes past my scheduled appointment time before finally seeing the doctor. At the start of the appointment, they confirmed my pharmacy, but due to the long delay, I had to leave in a hurry. The doctor assured me she would send my prescriptions in afterward. Later, I discovered they were sent to the wrong pharmacy—one in Schaumburg, not the one I verified. I contacted the office to fix it, and the receptionist texted me saying it would take 24 to 48 hours to correct. That’s unacceptable, especially when medication is time-sensitive. While waiting, I also overheard the receptionist double-booking another patient that afternoon, which explains part of the long delays. After seeing the 2.6-star rating on Yelp, I’m not surprised—but now I understand why. If my review gets removed, that will just reinforce how little this facility values honest patient feedback.

I sent my daughter to this dermatologist and was extremely disappointed with the experience. She waited 45 minutes past her appointment time, and when she was finally seen, the doctor spent barely one minute with her. There was no greeting, no explanation of what was going on with her skin, and no effort to make her feel comfortable or informed. It felt rushed and impersonal — especially concerning when you’re trusting a doctor to care for a young patient.

When I arrived for the appointment for fillers I got a consultation. That would have been fine, except that was not what I wanted or expected.

First of all the most important thing I experienced was excellent communication and professionalism. Everyone was extremely competent in their positions. Dr Steil was quick to make decisions and provided me we the best medical care that I could receive. She does what needs to be done and without hesitation does it. I am so very lucky to have her as my Dermatologist. She gives you options as to therapy. I believe she knows extremely more about the best therapy for me. Her confidence and brilliance gives me extreme confidence in her decisions. I believe that what ever she recommends I will do. Secondly she has a wonderful bed side manner.
