We can treat scars

A subcision is a surgical procedure used to treat scars by inserting a needle into the scarred area. The needle is then used to break up the material under the skin that connects the scar to the tissue underneath. The release and breakup of the tissue under the scar and the new wound created will encourage collagen growth and patients typically see scar improvement.

This is an outpatient procedure and can be performed on:

  • acne scars
  • scars from other surgery
  • wrinkles
